My bookclub got together on Monday night here at my house and having read The Secret Life of Bees we watched it on DVD. It was an enjoyable evening that started off with dinner. I made soup and everyone brought something. The movie was very true to the book. Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifa and Alicia Keys and Dakota Fanning....how could you miss with a cast like that.
I got to use my new white dishes and looked for pink bowls to brighten things up a bit but couldn't find any so settled for pink napkins. I found some interesting crystal thingys that I scattered around on the table, they have a hole through them for hanging so I'm thinking about what I'll want to bedazzle!
