Look What's Blooming!

Here is another mosaic of what's blooming this week in my garden....mostly iris and some clematis. The peonies are just starting but I probably have enough varieties to do a mosaic of their own.

I had a lovely Memorial Day vacation. My nephew's son turned one and had a big birthday party, that was fun....lots of kids everywhere. My sister and her daughter and my daughter were all here on Sunday, I love catching up with them.

So far, it has been cold and I have put the gardening on hold. I think we are to get rain the rest of the week. I really need to get to a couple more greenhouses and get some flowers in the ground. Maybe later this week.

The flowers are very pretty. My peonys and iris are blooming, too. I planted some impatients and begonias on Friday. Will it ever warm up and stay warm?

Beautiful flowers Kay. I love that deep blue Clematis.

I have tried to send you our warm weather, but it just hasn't worked.

Hopefully you will get it for the weekend.

You and Georga O'Keefe were the inspiration for this final (thank goodness) week's art projects... i sent them out with digital cameras to take photos of blooms and then they chose some to paint...
Of coarse now they are like... Miss Kay has a blog... can i have a blog? Maggie says she likes Touch of Pink, but hers will be called A Colorful Life... I guess that's about right...
