I needed a new hobby so that I can play with my crafty friends twice a month. We take the crafts we are working on and have an evening of fun working on our projects and enjoying each others artistic endeavors. I decided on crazy quilting. I got the idea when I accidently stumbled on a beautiful crazy quilt square on the internet and then I joined a yahoo group for newbie crazy quilters and the rest is history!
My first project was a cell phone case. I am attaching photos of the front and back of it.

This is really cute. It seems many of us are into cell phone pouches lately. Jo in NZ does a really cool ID pouch that you might want to check out.
Kay, I like your cell phone case!!! I don't see anything wrong with it! Just keep on trucking! Now you have givem me an idea I hadn't thought of a cell case. Was toying wiht the idea of needlecase.

i agree with everyone else - can't believe that is your first project.. it's just perfect.. pink is my FAVORITE color :-) CQ for Newbies is the perfect group for those of us starting out.. everyone is helpful and since we are all newbies you don't have to sweat swapping with others..
