A Bag of Shells

My friend Joan and I were just discussing this week how we will decorate our homes now that the Easter decorations have come down. Today I picked up a “Cottage Style” magazine and noticed a lot of sea shells and beachy themes…. So at my next stop I bought a bag of really nice big sea shells. I have no idea what I’ll do with these but I have a lot to play with. I guess I’ll see what else I have that will go with a beach theme. I might even be able to find a jar of shells in my daughter’s room.

How does everyone else decorate between holidays? What are you using now?

I bought a few new plates! Before Easter I bought a new wrought-iron looking plate hanger (for 3 plates). During Easter, I used cute pastel plates with Easter (bunny and egg) designs. I've now changed that to some lovely deep blue and yellow plates which really 'pop' against the bare / beige wall. My decorating 'theme' for spring this year will be CLEAN and ORDERLY! (a new theme for me!) Oh...I also bought some daffodils a few days ago and placed them in three different rooms. I like fresh flowers for spring! LINDY

I am decorating with dust. It seems to be working well. If I leave it go for a long time, I can even use it to write messages to myself! :) Ha ha ha! Enjoy the shells. No time for decorating here!
