This week I stopped at the gym on my way to work since they were having a yard sale. I spent $4 and am happy with my purchases. I got three different sizes of spring form pans for $1…. And since Molly’s boyfriend loves cheese cake, she probably needs one. I found another nice mirror for my mirror wall, I already have it painted, just need to put it back together and hang it. And I bought a vintage dress form I have seen these lately on a lot of blogs and although I’m not sure what I want to do with it, I will be having a spare room in only 7 days, so I may dress it up and use it up there. Or maybe I’ll resell it. I only paid $1 for it. In fact the lady told me she’d pay me $1 to take it! So, once again I got some good deals, I don’t think I took the time to stop at many yard sales last year and I almost forgot the fun that they are… Now I have to plan to get rid of some of my own stuff before bringing more treasurers into my home.

Hi !!! Just found your blog through your friends blog...Joan Fricker.I love her blog and yours too. LOL !!! Seems great minds think a like...lol. I am engouraged to work on my blog from looking at yours and Joans.
Oh,by the way...i am sooooo jealous of your dress form, especially at that price. What an incredible find!!! I'd love to have one...maybe I will find one this yard sale season.
Take care,Roxanne
Kay, you sure are doing great on your yard sale finds. I have a dress form in one of my guests rooms (paid lots more than a $1.00 for it though). I found a pretty vintage wedding dress to put on it at an antique shop and it looks great in the corner of that room.
Several years ago I took my wedding dress to the cleaners and never got it back. I was sick, so I had to buy another one that someone else was married in.
We will be anxious to see what you do with it.
Joan
You totally scored on the yard sales. My MIL has a dress form that she hangs her necklaces on. I love it and wish I had one.
