Snow Day

Remember snow days as a kid… no school, no responsibilities, no worries, just a day off with nothing to do but play in the snow and drink hot chocolate! Today I decided to take a snow day. I never do that because I don’t get paid if I don’t work, but yesterday when our secretary told me she was going to finish all her work for the week so she wouldn’t have to come in today I thought that sounded like a great idea and I did the same thing.

I have had a very pleasant day at home. I slept late and then I cleaned and decorated for Easter, I didn’t leave the house all day! My whole house is clean at the same time, I even went up to Mollys bedroom and did about an hours worth of organization in there. And so now it looks like spring at my house. Here are some photos of my living room.

now...i realize that only your sister can ask this....but WHY did they put those vents on the front of your brick fireplace? in looking at pictures of other homes, i'm not sure i've seen that on other fireplaces....have you? has anyone else? i forgot that they were in the front. the decorations are beautiful....but those darn vents! and....you would have saved MORE than $66. dollars if you had stayed home!! lol (again....only a sister can say that!!) love you! and....MY blue cup and saucer look SO lovely in my living room! (remember the christmas gift???) thank you again!

Lindy, Obviously the guy who designed the fireplace was thinking about function rather than asethetics... I'm guessing the day they discussed design elements he was napping in class.
